Awesome product. Have the ULTRA version and i am stunned by the ease of use in combination with quality. Settings and playback is easy to configure and start. Its basically 1-click install then play setup. Very powerful player.
But there is one flaw. I gave this player 5 of 5 for the extreme quality and usage. But it DOES NOT support Dolby Vision HDR layer. I also contacted support and according to them there was no planning in implement any support for this. Dolby Vision has for the moment NO software player that supports it. Only chance is hardware like Nvidia shield etc. This was a bit disappointing because if anyone could make Dolby Vision work in PC software i thought it was the awesome DVDFAB crew.
But since no other software company has managed this either, i wont let it go from 5 stars to 4. Dolby Vision HDR layer is tricky, but i hope they have change their mind and plan to implement it.
Awesome player. Highly recommended
The player is good. I hope it will provide more freedom for font and font location in the future version:)
Good but in need of improvement
Best program for films, but in need of improvement.
Unfortunately, you cannot select multiple files to be played one after the other. That was still possible in DVDFabPlayer version 2. Furthermore, the player version 6 crashes under Windows 7 Ultimate, where the free DVDFab Player V2 runs without problems. On the other hand, DVD Fab version 6 runs well on Windows 10. Current version installs DVDFabPlayer 220.127.116.11 Ultra
Excellent Media Player with a little Subtitle issue on FULL UHD ISO in MENU mode
The Player uses the right subtitle in Menumode but if a Forced Sub is usesd to translate for example Japanese fonts in the screen then the player shows the right sub not in the contextmenu (right mouse->subtitle...) or in the infobox (F2) until the movie is on the movie location where the subtitle is shown, then the player shows the right sub in the contextmenu and also in the info box, until the location the player shows in the contextmenu and in the infobox that not subtitle ist selected (off) that is a little bit confused, but otherwise it is a Very Good Player all. Greetings :-)
